It really makes me very proud to read through a book from a successful Black South African entrepreneur. Dj Sbu is especially a key icon amongst the current Black youth in South Africa because we can relate to his story. The key themes tha It really makes me very proud to read through a book from a successful Black South African entrepreneur.

The key themes that are interestingly woven into to the fabric of this book are that of sacrifice, effort, perseverance and dogged hustle. I believe what Dj Sbu was portraying in this book was that these characteristics are innate between Black Africans, and that we must just believe that we are enough to make it in this world, even despite our circumstances.

This is a must read for every entrepreneur, especially for Black entrepreneurs because we are the generation that has the onus to create legacies for the generations to come, and that is our struggle.

I am inspired by the long term view that Dj Sbu and Siphiwe are taking in order to create the first Black owned beverage company, this is encouraging especially in a time when people want to make quick unsustainable money to the detriment of their enterprise. This book is meant to be shared, I think there aren't enough stories shared about Black entrepreneurs and leaders who can be role models to young Africans. In conclusion this book incites you to do something about your own life, that no job is meagre or small for you, life is about humbling yourself, learning and growing, and no one can do it for you, You must take initiative and action to make the change you want to see.

Aug 08, Lindiwe Maile rated it really liked it. A very short and informative read. If i had to describe it shortly I would call it a non conformer's diary. Sbu writes about his downfall and triumphs so openly it's refreshing.

For someone who receives a lot of criticism because of his unconventional marketing and all the name calling, Sbu takes responsibility for his actions and demonstrates a method to his madness. His business ventures, failed and thriving, have provided him with a well on information and lessons which he divulges in this bo A very short and informative read. His business ventures, failed and thriving, have provided him with a well on information and lessons which he divulges in this book.

He has a lot of influences or people he looks up to but he makes it a point that he stays true to what he believes to be right. He encourages that if something has your name on it, make sure it's a reflection of your very best. It's a pleasant and enlightening read on the person he is, his business ventures, how he manages his brand, what inspires him, i think there's a lot to learn from this book if you're an aspiring entrepreneur, more so if you are not afraid of tapping into unconventional marketing.

I hope Mofaya becomes what Sbu and Siphiwe have built it to become. I absolutely love the goal of leadership and hope that everything works out so we can see the academy come to fruition Nov 26, Balunga Mbolekwa rated it it was amazing. Short but very inspiring book.
