Jun 08, Colleen rated it it was amazing. This book is thick, but extremely informative and an excellent reference. The online companion to the text is a valuable resource as well. Some things presented in the material I already knew, but there were always a lot of terms in medical jargon that seemed a total puzzle to me, and all of it is much more clear now that I know what the broken-down components of those terms actually refer to.

It's dry, as expectedits a textbook. The diagrams with labeling as you read is helpful but I dislike how some sections didn't give I had to Google things for better explanations. Thank God the internet exists. Oct 25, Simran rated it it was amazing.

This book was required for a medical terminology class I just finished at school. It's very informative and helpful. This book is filled with pictures and definitions, and a very helpful glossary that serves as a quick reference for combining forms, suffixes, and prefixes.
